The largest of the “beach cities”, Redondo Beach has approximately 2.5 miles of coastline and hosts a worldwide renowned marina – King Harbor. While shopping and large employment basis are situated throughout many areas of the city, a primary draw for locals and visitors alike is its oceanfront activities. The marina is a focal point for boaters, sailors, paddle boarders, luxurious hotels and restaurants of all types.

The city is uniquely divided into “North Redondo Beach” and “South Redondo Beach”. Adjacent to Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach to its west, “North Redondo Beach” is also bordered by Hawthorne to its north, Lawndale to its east and Torrance to its south. “South Redondo Beach” fronts the coastline and Torrance to its east. Within “South Redondo”, a trendy area named, “Riviera Village” provides locals and vacationers a quiet atmosphere to dine, shop, and enjoy easy access to the beach.

Like Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach School Districts, the Redondo Beach City School District also receives high praise for the quality of its education. A point of interest, residents of Hermosa Beach may choose to attend Redondo Beach Unified School District or the Mira Costa High School of the Manhattan Beach Unified School District.
